Description

Malö 40H (1980) bluewater cruising sailboat for sale. Solid Swedish-built yacht with a long keel, known for safety and comfort offshore. She has sailed from Europe through Asia and across the Indian Ocean, proving reliable on long passages.

Well equipped for offshore cruising with Beta Marine 35 hp engine (2015), lithium batteries (2025), solar system and upgraded electrics, Starlink, Iridium GO, AIS, VHF, and windvane self-steering.

Extensive sail inventory, including new mainsail (2026), genoa (2022), spinnaker and storm sails. Major recent work includes electrical refit and gearbox overhaul (2025), rig inspection (2025), and new antifouling (2026).

An additional diesel tank was installed after contamination; total capacity approx. 310 L.

Comfortable centre cockpit layout with a separate aft cabin. Sleeps up to 6. Ideal for offshore cruising or liveaboard use.

Currently in the Indian Ocean, with delivery towards East Africa possible.
